The junior Young Leaders group visited JCTC to learn more about education, leadership, and entrepreneurship with guest speakers Heather Yocum, Dr. Michael Shell, and Dr. Tim Burgoyne. Students enjoyed using Legos with Dr. Shell for team building and to learn more about their natural roles working in teams. They had a variety of tasks to complete that kept them engaged and challenged. (Photos courtesy of Cheri Mann.)

Juniors! Do you want to get some help with your upcoming ACT? Sign up for the Super Saturday Sessions! The Super Saturday sessions aim to help students feel more comfortable and confident tackling the ACT. These sessions allow students to work one-on-one or in small groups with content experts to help expand their understanding of English, Math, Reading, or Science. Super Saturdays also allow students to work on non-content issues like test anxiety and navigating timed tests. While priority registration is given to juniors, it is open to any student scheduled to take the ACT in the spring. Here is the link for students (or their parents) to sign up: https://forms.gle/tqQTpQCYBZMtwXGW7
