Using the subtractive method, the same technique Michelangelo used to carve “David”, students created plaster pieces inspired by their own sketches, focusing on negative space and contour designs. ✏️✨ As they wrap up their projects, some artists plan to paint their creations 🎨💛 while others will fire theirs in the art department’s kiln 🔥🏺.

The Carroll County forum will be on Thursday, Dec. 11 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the JCTC Carrollton Campus. It is held in collaboration with the Carroll County Community Development Corporation. It is free, but organizers request you register in advance.
