Hello Panther Families! Carroll County Schools will use an NTI Day tomorrow, Friday, Dec. 12. Your child's school will be in touch regarding expectations for the day. Please stay safe and warm!

Weather forecasts for the next few days indicate we are likely to receive snow and experience very cold temperatures. We are monitoring the situation and will keep you informed about school decisions as quickly as possible.
Please note, we utilize information from the National Weather Service Wilmington, Ohio office as the definitive measurement of weather. We view and monitor local meteorologists and we have spotters who drive throughout the county to check roads, but those are only pieces of the decision for Carroll County Schools.
We appreciate your patience and understanding as we all prepare for the next round of anticipated winter weather.

📅✈️ Plan ahead and please avoid vacations during that week! Remember, student absences won’t be excused unless a parent note is sent if these days are used as make-ups.
Thanks for your cooperation! 💛🖤

We are monitoring the weather forecast as another round of winter weather is expected in our area. Our goal is to make a decision about school by 5:30 a.m.
Please remember: A message will only be sent if school is cancelled.
Stay safe and warm, Panthers! ⛄️🖤💛

A huge THANK YOU to English Baptist Church for their incredible generosity! 🙌💙
Today, they donated over 100 pairs of shoes 👟👞 to support all of the clothing closets across our district. Their kindness will make a meaningful difference for so many students and families. Pastor Derrick Willis delivered the donation to Family Resources Youth Services (FRYSC) Coordinator Aayme Kindoll.
Our FRYSC centers are truly grateful for this amazing support. Thank you for helping us care for our community! ❤️🙏✨

Our Head Start students spent the week meeting some of our community’s real-life heroes — and what a week it was! 💙
👮♂️ Kentucky State Trooper: Students learned how troopers keep our roads and communities safe (and loved seeing those flashing lights up close!).
🚒 Firefighter: We had a special visit from one of our local firefighters — who’s also a proud Head Start parent! The fire truck and gear were a big hit as we learned all about fire safety.
🚑 EMS Team: Our young learners explored an ambulance and discovered how EMS workers help people in emergencies. The sirens and equipment had everyone smiling!
We’re so thankful to all our amazing community helpers for taking time to visit, inspire, and teach our students how they make a difference every day. 💫

Panther Families,
We need your help! Each family is asked to complete the Household Income Form (HIF), a completely private and confidential form that has a big impact on the funding our schools receive.
The number of forms completed directly affects the resources available for our students, including Weekend Food Bags that go home with several of our students, e-rate funding that provides affordable high-speed internet, and many other essential programs that support families across our district.
Completing the HIF takes less than 3-4 minutes, and every student needs a form on file. Our goal is to have completed forms for 80% of our students, but right now we are below 60%.
Please take a few moments today to fill out your student’s Household Income Form using the link below. Your effort makes a lasting difference for our students, families, and schools.
How to Complete the HIF:
1. Type in this link: https://www.myschoolapps.com/Application
2. Enter zip code "41008" or select "Kentucky" from the dropdown menu and select “Search”
3. Select "Carroll County Public Schools, KY - Household Income Forms" from the dropdown menu and select "Select District & Continue"
4. Read the information on the page and select "Begin Application Process"
5. Complete the form with your household information. If you have multiple students in your home, please attach all of them to one form.
Select the button with three lines in the top right corner of the screen and select Language to change between English and Español.

🖤 💛Panthers, don’t miss out on the fun! 🐾
